Stützpunkt is a Berlin-based music collective that has been organizing events since 2014. I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with them on various design projects, including vinyl artwork, logo redesign, posters, merchandise, and various event flyers. Over the years, we’ve developed a distinctive visual language that embodies the collective's energy and style.
One of my passions is incorporating nature into my designs. A technique I use involves scanning and manipulating leaves to create organic shapes. For the main design of the flyer, I contrasted the typically dark techno aesthetic with bold colors and dynamic shapes, resulting in a distinctive visual language that stands out.
My incorporation of nature into the Stützpunkt designs began when the collective first wanted to release their music in physical form and needed artwork for their vinyls. I collected leaves from Tiergarten, a park in the heart of Berlin, and used them as the basis for the visuals. This style has now been featured on seven vinyl releases.
